Samsung change the design of Galaxy Tab 10.1, Since it is considered Imitating Apple iPad
Samsung chose to change the design, brand naming, and the re-launch tablet Galaxy Tab 10.1. This was done so as not to be considered as an effort to imitate Apple Tabet, iPad.
Samsung turning it into Galaxy Tab 10.1N which will be launched in Germany. On the design side, South Korean vendors are turning to the metal material that covers the surface until the edge of the tablet.
Design changes, as well as the new name Galaxy Tab 10.1 is also done for a German court decided to stop selling these tablets since September 2011, because the case is won the Apple.
“I’m not saying that this product design changes will clarify the infringement of patents owned by Apple. It’s up to the courts decide,” said Florian Mueller, a reporter for FOSS patent, as quoted by AppleInsider on Wednesday (16/11/2011).
However, Mueller added that Samsung may have successfully proved that the product Apple iPhone 4S has violated at least one of Samsung’s 3G patents.
Moreover, German courts have decided that there are two patents owned by Samsung which is considered valid. So that already may be the reason for Samsung to ban some Apple products. But Samsung also can not have fun first, because there are still discussions with the court which will take place on 20 and January 27, 2012.
Germany is currently a crucial state for both the vendor due to breach of its products. Last week, Samsung filed a complaint for violations committed by Apple.
Previously, Apple has also won a case of plagiarism that led to the prohibition of product Galaxy Tab 10.1 Australia and Germany
